This is the 8th time Hillview has been named a Distinguished School — more than any other school in the state!

In 1999-2000 Hillview was recognized by the United States Department of Education as one of the nation's Blue Ribbon Schools.

Hillview Middle School, with a current enrollment of 682 students, is the single middle school for sixth through eighth grade students in the Menlo Park City School District.

The school staff includes 40 full- or part-time teachers, 2 counselors, 1 librarian, 2 part-time student activities directors, 7 aides, 7 classified staff members, 2 vice principals (through December), and a principal.
